Why StoreKitly exists
If you run a Shopify store, you have probably had a moment like this: a customer says a discount code did not work, a promotion costs more than the margin can absorb, or a report tells you what sold but not why. Those are the problems StoreKitly is built for.
Most software answers those questions by adding another dashboard and another login. I would rather give you one clear answer. What break-even ROAS does this order need? What margin is left after product cost, payment fees, and shipping? What happened when a discount code failed? CouponRescue answers the last question. The calculators answer the first two.
StoreKitly is an independent project. I am Shawn Zhu, and I build the tools and write the guides.
What you’ll find here
- CouponRescue — a Shopify Plus app that records invalid discount-code attempts and applies merchant-defined rules. It gives shoppers a clear next step and gives you a record of what happened.
- ROAS calculator — find the break-even ROAS for an order, then compare it with campaign numbers when you have them. It runs in your browser, with no account and no email gate.
- Margin calculator — see what is left after product cost, payment fees, and shipping. The numbers stay in your browser.
- Merchant notes — plain-English guides to discounts, checkout, SEO, shipping, and the day-to-day work of running a Shopify store.
How I work
- Every tool starts with a question a merchant actually asks.
- I check the details against Shopify’s own documentation and update the pages when the platform changes.
- The calculators show their formulas and limits, and run entirely in your browser.
- If something on the site is wrong, tell me. I would rather fix it than leave a bad answer online.
Who it’s for
StoreKitly is for Shopify store owners and ecommerce managers who handle conversion, retention, or discount profitability. Agencies and consultants who recommend apps are welcome too.
CouponRescue is built for Shopify Plus stores that run welcome offers, seasonal promotions, or creator and affiliate codes. The blog covers the wider set of problems that come with running an independent store.
